Social Fair

ConSozial was launched in the last year of the last millennium. In 2024, it will take place in Nuremberg for the 25th time. In this quarter of a century, the congress trade fair has been a meeting point for visionaries, specialists and managers from the social sector as well as decision-makers from social policy.

The ConSozial congress trade fair is the leading event for the social economy in Germany. The Social Innovation Award focuses on the innovative strength of the sector. At the anniversary event, the start-up JUHI emerged as the winner - with a newly developed app that organises everyday help for people in need of care.

The German Protestant Kirchentag with around 50,000 visitors per day was the largest guest event of 2023 in the Nuremberg Exhibition Center and an example of the successful cooperation between the organizer and NürnbergMesse.

The Innovation Park at the ConSozial social fair offers social start-ups a platform to present themselves to the social sector and expand their network. In an interview, Norbert Kunz, founder of Social Impact, explains why trade fairs like ConSozial are so important.
